Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at the Swiss Cardiovascular Center Bern, University Hospital Bern, Switzerland Prof. Windecker’s principal research interests are clinical trials with focus on the evaluation of intracoronary devices and drugs for the treatment of coronary artery disease, antithrombotic therapy among patients requiring cardiac device implantation, research related to valvular heart disease including transcatheter aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve interventions. Prof. Windecker has authored more than 600 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals.

Prof. Lansky has dedicated her career to leading clinical and angiographic evaluations of more than 500 clinical trials in a broad range of ischemic cardiovascular therapeutic areas, including pharmacologic and interventional device trials, many of which are landmark trials in the field and/or leading to FDA approval in the United States. She has authored and coauthored over 500 academic peer-reviewed manuscripts in the fields of interventional cardiology, angiography, and women’s cardiovascular health.
